Final DT card !!!

A very sparkly Christmas card - this is my final DT card for the CRAFT Challenges.  I have loved working with the fab team but after much deliberation I have made the decision to step down.  I have so many projects I want to make and so little spare hours, so for now I am going to concentrate on my long list of projects I have on my desk.

I have coloured the gorgeous image from  Lacy Sunshine Stamps (what fab designs) - Bubbles Ice-Skating with my Promarkers and then added some glamour dust to her headband, and top.  The lovely sparkly ribbon was from a local Craft shop, sentiment and bow from my ever growing stash.

Will end my post with love and hugs to my teamies over at CRAFT Challenges and I wish them all well for the future.  Huge thank you to Jo for having me as one of her team for so long.

A Little Bit of Love

This is the challenge at Nutcrafters this week

"A Little bit of Love"

This gave me the perfect opportunity to use of my favourite Nutcrafters images - just love these 2 cute love birds.

I have used another of my fancy folds cards, some "Sweet Owl" papers and of course out came the promarkers.

Now given that I have had a massive clear out in the craft room and moved lots of things, I was quite surprised that I managed to find everything I was looking for, including the die cut sentiments.

I will be soooo glad once I can come in at night and take piccies in the natural light instead of having to use artificial light....grrrrr

Thought I would share some of the lovely cards we made at our Stampin Up Workshop on Saturday.

We got to use some of the new goodies from the new mini catalogue and we had a great time.

Sue and Elvie always provide us with a light lunch and they work so hard to make our day perfect.

I contributed to lunch this time with a Greek Salad from Slimming World and if I say so myself it was absolutely delicious

We have another craft class on Friday and will be making flowers using lots of punches, really looking forward to that.

strange shaped card!!! but I have so many different card blanks at the moment so decided to use one of  the more unusual shapes...the die i have just bought, and the image which was coloured using promarkers is from "Fitztown" and called Cutie 2, I do like to pink and brown colour combo...

CRAFT Challenge

Good morning crafters - wishing I was at home crafting now instead of at work, but then how would i pay for my addiction LOL

I do love crafting, so this weekend I am off to my little craft retreat armed with lots of goodies (some new), my dog and a bottle of wine.

However, before then I must show you my card I made for the CRAFT challenge - we have a colour combo challenge this week and I got to use a Kenny K digi "Thumbs Up and just perfect for a certain little boy I know and love :)

Lots of blues as you can see, coloured with my Promarkers, and then trimmed to fit around the circle...

Decoupage Challenge

Hello again - twice in one week......

This time i want to share my DT card for CRAFT Challenges and the challenge is one we haven't had before

"Decoupage"

not usually one of my favourites but i did enjoy this challenge - nice to make something different once in a while.

Nw the stamp set to make the border and the sentiment is from Clarity Stamps coloured with promarkers but the gorgeous owl is from "The Stamping Chef" and is called Oohoo Night".  Bet you're really surprised i chose an owl digi to work with...NOT

I have decoupaged his nose and the roses - although you can't tell from the piccies :( nobody ever said i was a photographer - will stick to my admin job i think!!!

Midway Reminder

As I didn't get chance to make a card for the Nutcrafters original challenge I have made this one as a midway reminder to you all.

Favourite song or film is our challenge - Sleeping with the enemy is one of my favourites and it has a great song in it.."My brown-eyed girl"

The image is a saturated canary one - don't you just love the challenge of colouring these fantastic images in ...well i do!!!

I have of course used my promarkers and some free backing papers, card-candi and the flowers are made from a sunflower die....

My challenge at Nutcrafters...

Good afternoon on this chilly December day - it was my turn to choose the challenge over at Nutcrafters, so I have chosen "Snow Snow everywhere"

I would like to see lots of entries with "snowflakes -snowmen - snowballs if fact anything to do with "Snow".  I love snow but not too keen on driving in it although I have a lovely new car which may make it much easier.

Now here is my DT card using one of the many lovely images we get to play with over at Nutcrafters

I have snowflakes and a snowman on my card so only snowballs missing !!!

I got to use a cute digi from Stamp Fairy this week and as soon as it was made...SOLD....so have made a few more very similar ....

She is coloured with promarkers using lots of different lilacs and purples..a sparkly trim on her hat, a nice big bow and some stars - voila a pretty little Christmas card.

The card i have used is actually flocked with holly and berries and i love it...

Gift Bag or Box

Good morning followers

Our challenge this week over at CRAFT Challenges is to make a Gift Bag or Box - well I was a bit of a rebel as I had just bought these lovely handbag shaped card blanks.  I have covered it with some fab papers from Stitchy Bear "Christmas Lights" which I printed onto gold shimmer card.

Such a shame you can't see just how much this card stock glimmers through the lovely santa papers.

 I have decoupaged one of the santa's, added some tags (which came with the card blanks) some lovely ribbon and  a couple of snowflakes...

Dark when i go to work and darker still by the time i get home

but anyway less moaning Sylv  - here is my card for the challenge over at Nutcrafters and our Gemma wanted us to work from the recipe above.  I have used a lovely image from the new Nutcrafter range (coloured with my flexmarkers and promarkers) 2 free backing papers and finally added 3 embellishments - mittens - jewellery wire and a star...I love adding stars to cards....
