Nutcrafter's Challenge

Good morning - It is my turn to host the Nutcrafters Challenge and I have chosen a colour theme

"Pink and Brown"
I just love this colour combo, so come on get those promarkers, flexmarkers, copics etc out and share your colouring skills with us at Nutcrafters - of course you don't have to use you colouring pens you could just find some yummy pink and brown papers - oh I am thinking marshmallows and chocolates now.

Now this is one of the new images that the lovely Katie has designed - she has got so many lovely stamps and digis about to be launched and lucky ole me gets to play with them all.

Oh happy bunny !!!

Coloured with my promarkers, DCWV backing papers, organza ribbon and bow, a few pearls and my sentiment is a computer generated one.  Oh yes and a ribbon slide given to me by a lovely friend - well actually she gave me a bag full.

I shall be at work as you read this but I shall be counting down the hours as I am off to Yorkshire for a few days and soooooo looking forward to it.

Until next time - happy crafting

Guess what the theme is for our challenge at Nutcrafters???  Yep "Boys "

I have used one of my new stamps from Nutcrafters this time...and perfect for a male card I will need later in the month.

Backing papers from my huge stash of "male" papers, a sentiment from a CD but no idea which one lol and the image is coloured with Flexmarkers for a change.

Do come and join us and show off your creations, we are always happy to come nosing at your blogs too .

Birthday card for middle one

This is the birthday card I have just given to my  middle daughter for her birthday

I usually make her one with camper vans or surfing stuff on but this year I have gone for big and bold...and she loved it!!!!

My watermark covers the little London Bus up in the corner....

right that's my posting done for the nite.

Take care

Christmas cards in March ???

Well 1st March and off I went to a Stampin Up Group and what did we make ????

Christmas cards of course!!!!

This Poinsetta stamp has to be one of my favourites and there are so many fab sentiment and verse stamps to choose from - think I spent more time choosing which to use than I did actually stamping....

We stamped the poinsettia twice onto Vellum and then cut them out before sticking them onto the card with sticky buds.  I have embossed mine with white detail embossing powder but some of the other girls used glittery embossing powder which was really effective.

We then used another of my favourite sets - trees

This one was covered in glitter at the end and the inside is just as pretty as the outside

Just thought I would share them with you.

Have to dash as it is daughter's birthday today and I still have some pressies to wrap and cakes to finish.

Enjoy your Tuesday evening
