Hello again..only little ole me....do you have some Kraft paper or card lying around in one of your drawers somewhere, if so dig it out and come and join us for our challenge at Nutcrafters,

Christmas in May

Well it is over at CRAFT challenges this week....did you join in our blog hop ????  The winners have yet to be announced so keep your fingers crossed it could be you !!!

Now as I have said the challenge this week is to dig out your Christmas stash and make and show us your project.  We have fab sponsors and great prizes this week including Doodle Dragons who very kindly gave me this "Santa Flamingo" digi to work with.  

I have coloured the image with my promarkers and other than the red and white cardstock everything else I have used was a freebie....

  Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 4 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4^th of May 2009.

  
  

  We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.

  
  

  We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.

  
  

  So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?

CRAFT Challenge card

The challenge this week at CRAFT Challenges is......

A Stitch in Time/Use Stitching

So, anything bearing the above in mind will qualify. We can't wait to see what you come up with. 

So here is what I have done, a lovely little slider card, i love making these are they are so easy to make and this one is even suitable for a male so even better cos as you know I am not a fan of making male cards.

As you can see I didn't use a digi but I did choose some lovely papers (perfect for the men in our lives) from a pack designed by Jo.  My stitches aren't real they are rub-ons and for those of you like me that struggle with rub-ons I have a great tip...use a glitter girl embossing tool..perfect...

So come on folks lets see your projects and you may just become one of our many winners

So what did I make ????

a lovely little card inspired by a SU demonstrator last week...plain and simple but lovely just the same

 I coloured my image with promarkers and for the 1st time ever I have "shiny hair"...I am thrilled.  Hopefully my colouring skills will improve after my promarker class in a couple of weeks time....

Good afternoon crafters

and a huge welcome to my blog - I thought I would share some cards I made last night, made mainly with SU products.  I got to use one of my favourite punches and stamp sets again....

Here is the 1st one inspired by a sketch

the 2nd one I just love the colour ways on this one - I have messed up with this one as I cut around the flowers and I shouldn't have - hey ho..

and the final one which is the one using my favourite punch and stamp set is....

I had a great creative evening and am quite proud of my efforts

Have a good evening I am just waiting for my daughter and her partner to turn up for dinner

Queen for a day .....

Oh heck, not a job I would enjoy I don't think there would be much time for crafting !!!!  And Phillip would get cross with me when the corgis got covered in glitter !!!!

Now this is our challenge over at CRAFT and you may interpret as you will..I used a digi image from Sassy Studios.  I love the image but not my colouring as for the 1st time I have used Neenah card and I am not impressed....

Do any of you know about such things, what have I done wrong as the colour just seems to have spread but not really blended!!!  I have used flexmarkers and promarkers and then for a change I decided to use plain card for the backing instead of patterned....

This is a scheduled post so have to dash as I am meeting a friend for coffee (no cake though).

Christmas in April ???
