C.R.A.F.T challenge GDT card

Well this is my last card as a GDT for C.R.A.F.T.Challenges and the theme was "New Year".

Bit of a quickie card for me as time seems to have run away and i am now back at work!!!! This funny little man is 'Harry' from LiaStamp. Final Christmas Cards

These may have been my final Christmas Cards but they are definitely the most important. They are for my daughters...I have 3 lovely daughters so as soon as i saw this LOTV stamp I knew i had to have it!!!! I have made the girls all the same card but just changed the outfits and the hair colour .... this one is for my middle daughter who has brown hair..coloured with my promarkers and copics for a change. Martha Stewart Punch for the border and my favourtie snowflake punch. The sentiment came with the stamp.

C.R.A.F.T.Challenge GDT card

Hello followers...are we already for the big day, are you stockings hung up for Santa!!! mine is and as i have been a very good girl i expect it to be full to the brim!!!

What a day!!!

Hi followers hope you are snuggly and warm this evening.

I never expected today to be a good one, it is the 1st anniversary of the death of my nan so obviously i woke up very sad. I planned to go to the cemetery, light a candle and place some hyacinths and flowers for nan but 1st i needed a shower. Had a wonderful refreshing shower then walked into the kitchen to find the cat had left me a mess yuk, cleaned it up, mopped the floor and then got back in the shower....came out got dressed did my hair, coffee time....went back into the kitchen and yes you guessed it poor Jess had been poorly again!!! Cleaned it up, mopped the floor and finally left the house minus the coffee....

Thankfully the afternoon has been much better...look at this lot i made!!!



I recently bought a goodybag from craftwork cards..wow brilliant and this is what i have used to make the last lot of my christmas cards.... only needed to add some ribbon and punch some scalloped circles and voila...sorry the piccies aren't brill there was no daylight left once i had finished.

This weeks C.R.A.F.T Challenge...................

Well onto the latest challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. challenges, we would like to see a Christmas card with a removeable part!!!

I got to use a fab digi from "Bows and Berries Digital Stamps" who are one of the brill sponsors this week. I chose this cute little penguin and his brother...i love penguins i just think they are soooooooooooooooooo cute...my card was inspired from a fantastic tutorial from Annette Dayot which can be found here...thank you so much Annette.

We're back...

Hello followers...well we have returned from a wonderful week in the Lake District, where we have seen sunshine, hail, rain and lots of snow !!!!! We had a great time, and thought you just might like to see some of the lovely piccies I took


We went on a cruise along Windermere to Ambleside and this is the view we had on our way back, this is before the snow arrived in town!!



Sophie getting ready for her walk with her padded coat, it was so dirty when we got back to the cottage it went straight in the wash...

Hubby needed a sit down when we reached the summit lol

me i needed a brandy!!!!

C.R.A.F.T challenge GDT card

Hello followers, well another scheduled post from me as i am still chilling in the lake district with my hubby and dog Sophie.

Over at the C.R.A.F.T challenge blog there is a great sketch to follow this week and i was lucky enough to be able to choose to work with this fab digi from Glitterbabe called "Country Tree". I think it is sooooo funky and perfect to go with these great papers and sentiments from docrafts papermania pack "Mistletoe Kisses".

Nutcrafters Challenge...

Good morning followers..I do hope you are all well.

I shall be in the Lake District having a pre- Christmas chill out by the time you are reading this (assuming the scheduled post has worked) lol

Over at Nutcrafters the challenge is make a card or project with a winter theme....so here is my card for the DT using another of the great stamps from the winter collection. Doesn't she look all snug and warm wrapped up surrounded by snowflakes???

Creative Craft Challenges DT card

Stamping Boutique provided the DT Team with some amazing digi images for our challenge this time over at Creative Craft Challenges. It is a stitching challenge this time and it doesn't matter whether it is real stitches or the faux ones.

I ordered 2 goodybags from craftwork cards this week and voila when i opened one of them there was some gorgeous backing papers with faux stitches on so that was my cue to make this card. I love this cute teddie with his sewing needle. I used some twine for his sewing thread and obviously coloured him with my promarkers.
