We're Back !!!!!

Where from ? you're all thinking !!!! My husband and I have just returned from 10 days in Majorca. We had a wonderful time even if the weather was a bit dodgy at times lol. We have re-charged our batteries now and have returned to work.

Right i promise to keep this flippin blog up-dated from now on in!!!!

Firstly, for those of you that know me you will know that i am terrified of flying so to ease the nerves the day before flying i had a bit of a crafty session....

these are the two cards i made and i am quite pleased with them

Well can you believe this!!! 2nd post of the day..it's to make up for not posting for the last 20 days lol

thought i would show you this tri-shutter card i have made...you will probaly have realised by now i am no "David Bellamy" so i apologise for the piccies

I am sure you can all make one of these cards but if anybody would like the clear and simple instructions that i used ....just ask

Saturday 29th May

Oh my goodness!!! is it really 20 days since i up-dated my blog. I promised
myself when i set up this blog thingy i would be really good and every sunday i would take myself off to my craft room and fill you in on what i have been doing!!!!!

ok well better late than never!!!! and i am a year older now lol

so what have i been doing...well i went to harrogate for a couple of days with my hubby as it was my birthday and he had booked a very swanky hotel. We had a wonderful time...craft wise... at craft club one of the members bought in a goody bag for each of us with backing papers, stamped image, gems and some mesh. the idea is that we then make a card using the materials provided. Great!!! usually but i left my mojo at home!!! anyway today i have managed to finish it off and also make a card for my daughter to give to her dad for father's day.

ok the pets are now calling to be fed so hopefully see you again very soon

Good evening to you all and thanks once again for popping in to have a look at my blog. Not really had much chance for crafting this week as it has been a busy one. I had Saturday off though so decided to catch up with a few "must do's" As you are probably aware i am a member of the dt for creative craft challenges so here are a couple of cards i have made. the images were supplied by stichybear stamps and i think they are fab to work with!!! The final card i made (in a hurry!!) was for a sketch challenge over at trimcraft. I used some backing papers from a polka doodles cd and then punched lots of flowers using my martha stewart punch....don't you just love them!!

Welcome back to my blog. I have just returned from a 2 day spa break with 2 of my really good friends. We had a wonderful time with lots of giggles, pampering and excellent food and wine.

Just before i went away for the weekend i decided to have a go at making a storage book for my nesties. I got the original idea from the Craft Stamper mag March 2010.. It was quite interesting to make and very different to anything i have made before. I used the rings rather than by Bind it All so that when i add to my collection of nesties i can add some more pages. the front cover is made using quite thick cardboard and then covered with the wallpaper we used to decorate one of the walls in my craft room.

Anyway i do hope you have all had a lovely bank holiday weekend and thank you so much for popping by and having a look at my blog.

Well this is it....my 1st ever post on my new blog.
I shall need lots of guidance i think as i am very very new to all this, but i suppose we all have to start somewhere.
Hopefully, i shall be able to post some piccies of my creations (once i have the hang of it).
