Just for Mum

Good morning followers...here is another card using one of the fantastic nursery rhyme stamps from Nutcrafters. This one is "Mary Mary Quite Contrary""




The theme this week at nutcrafters is "Just for Mum" so it could be a mother's day card/pressie or a birthday card/pressie for your mum, just so long as you use a nutcrafters image. We look forward to visiting your blogs and having a look at all the wonderful projects you can come up with.

Mine is coloured using my beloved promarkers and the backing papers, ribbons and sentiment were all from a "pink" swap i did over at trimcraft.

Hope you like it, i love pinks so really enjoyed making this one

Little Sophie...

This is my little dog Sophie...when i was trying my new camera out on Saturday afternoon guess who wanted to be in on the act...yep Sophie. She is 7 years old and we have had her since she was 7 weeks old and a tiny tiny cuddly bit of fluffy fur.

Lucky Winner...

Oh wow followers, hubby and I went out with some friends last night and on our return i checked my blog whilst he was making me a bedtime cuppa. (Not my usual hot chocolate because last week me and some work colleagues decided to give up chocolate for lent!!!!!!!!!!)am i mad...

anywoooooo getting back to my lucky win, i nosed around blogger for a little while and voila there was the name of the winner of one of the brand new stamps from Little Claire called Flossie and Winnie. Little me...wooo hoooo one happy bunny at 1 o'clock this morning.

Here is the piccie of the stamp can't wait to get it and then i will be playing in my little craft room..



Ok must go have a meeting with a man about a camera and possibly a get together with a friend and a bacon buttie..yummy

My 1st DT card as a "Poodle"

Good morning followers...yippee it's Friday and in about 6 hours i shall have finished work and be ready for my weekend ahead.

I haven't had the best of starts to my time with Poodles Parlour because when i got up yesterday morning planning to take the piccies of my DT card i realised my battery on my camera was dead!!! No problem i thought quick charge and it will be ready to go when i get in from work but oh no...the battery is terminal!!! What shall i do i thought..i know lets get my new iphone up and running and use the camera on that!!! 2 hours later i finally got to take my piccies in the worst light ever.

so i apologise for the standard of my photos but here it is




We all used digis from Lexi's Creations and i thought this one was just perfect for our "Mother's Day Challenge", I coloured my image with my trusty promarkers and then used my very new spellbinders die "star circles" and the papers are freebies that came in simply cards and papercrafts this week. the colours were just perfect!!! The sentiment is one from craftwork cards.

This is absolutely perfect for my great nephew Morgan, i just know he will love it. I have used my Martha Stewart Punch for the edging and the little tag sentiments are computer generated.

1st scrap-booking page........

Good morning to you all

Thought i would share this ...my 1st ever scrap-booking page. Last week at craft group our theme was scrap-booking, i nearly had a coronary :o never done scrap-booking in my life. well on Monday night i gathered together anything i thought i might be able to use on one page all ready for Tuesday.

This is what i came up with and I am so proud of it :D as i am not into scrap-booking (could be very tempted now though) i decided to make it into a wall hanging for my craft-room.

The piccie was taken on a trimmie night out at a chinese and we had one of the best nights ever. One i will treasure. Little did i know that me and Elke would go on to become best friends as i had only just met her when this piccie was taken.

Time to dash as need to go and collect more craft stash from the post office...yippee

Valentine's Day Challenge

Good morning to you all




Nice bright card to wake you up!!! this is my DT card for C.R.A.F.T.Challenges this week and as you have probably gatthered the theme is Valentine's Day. We have fabby sponsors again including the amazing Bugaboo Digi Stamps...don't you just love this image...she is just so cool.

I coloured her with my promarkers and have used some DPs from a swap i did with a trimmie a while ago (the theme was pink/red) the sentiment is from a sheet from Kanban.

New DT member

After careful consideration i decided to step down from the DT over at Creative Craft Challenges. This great challenge blog was set up by "Jilly" nearly 3 years ago and because of her and other members i got into blogging, even though i stated "no way, I haven't the time" !!!!!! I have however been offered a new position over at Poodles Parlour working with some fab DT members including my best friend Elke....couldn't say "No" now could I?????? I am so looking forward to working with some new team-mates in the coming months.
So keep watching my blog for info on the great challenges ahead..

Good morning followers





Hope you are all fit and well, don't know whether i am not!!! I have had to schedule this post so hopefully once it goes "live" i shall be fit and well but at the time of writing this i feel like i have been hit by a ten tonne truck. well that's what it feels like, I have a cold from hell, a cough that keeps me awake most of the night and a sore throat!!!!

the challenge this month is to use a very jazzy colour combo which was just so perfect for my chosen image. I have chosen papers from DCWV, coloured my image with my promarkers and the buttons are from that great cutesy craft shop i told you about in an earlier post
