Craft Stamper Inspiration

There was a fantastic little project in this months craft stamper magazine, so i decided to give it a go....

Nice messy playtime....lol

Screen card was from Little Claire's stand at Doncaster last year, lots of distress inks, various stamps and some lovely ribbons...

Voila....my finished project





think i will definitely be having another go sometime soon

A Recipe challenge

Good morning followers

hope you are all well, i shall be assisting with some training today for Healthcare assistants whilst you are reading my post...thank goodness for scheduled posts...lol

anywooo what do we have in store for you this week at C.R.A.F.T.Challenges??? a Recipe

what a great idea i thought and i loved it so much i managed to make 2 cards for the challenge.

This First one was made using a fantastic digi from The stamping Boutique and it was soooo lovely to colour with my promarkers and i got to use my new yummy papers from trimcraft called "Up Up & Away!!!! My friend was laughing at me when i got them cos i just kept stroking them and cooing!!!!! Bit strange i know but they really are touchy feely and double sided too..




and this one was using another fab digi from Digital Delights





Again coloured with my promarkers and this time i have made a stepper card, I got this blank form Craft Central Last weekend as i loved the size and shape of them. I have used a sheet from some DCWV papers, lots of lovely red and black ribbons and then a bow (don't ask me how i managed to end up with a double bow it just happened!!!The butterflies are from craft work cards and the buttons are from my huge stash!!!! this is going to be hubby's valentine card..hope he likes it...rrr mush lol

Yummy Buttons

Thought i would share some pics of these yummy buttons i bought yesterday. One of my best friend's son in law has opened this super duper cutesy craft shop in a lovely village in Sussex ....Steyning. He has some great stock including these fantastic wooden buttons and the price is amazing ANY yes ANY 4 buttons for £1...bargain and these are only a few of them. He also has a website...Handy craft with even more goodies for sale. So if you are around the Steyning area do drop in and say hi (there's a fantastic olde worlde tea-room there too) it's in the "Cobblestone Walk", warm welcome, craft goodies and a great cuppa what more could you ask for???

I think i will be needing another visit to the shop soon as i have soooo many ideas on how to use these buttons...my favourite are the sewing machine ones...i loooooooooooooove them!!!!

Anything goes!!!!

Good morning again lovely peeps..did you guess my sneaky peek was Georgie Porgie from the Nursery Rhyme set at Nutcrafters. How cute is this stamp????



The challenge this time at Nutcrafters is anything goes as long as you use one of the great nutcrafters image. a £10 gift voucher is on offer for the lucky winner too so we shall look forward to seeing your creations very soon.

I coloured my stamped image with promarkers and then used by blending tool to ink the edges. The flower i made using a martha stewart punch with a pearl brad in the middle and the huge green button was from a set i bought when i went to Ally Pally last year. The stand and diecut are from craft work cards and i love them for something different to make....

Good morning followers

Over at Creative Craft Challenges this time we have a "Blue" challenge, pretty easy ay??? We have some great sponsors this time including "Stamping Boutique" and i chose to use this great digi image. Coloured with my promarkers, sentiment from craftwork cards and the backing papers from my stash. I followed another great sketch over at Saturday Sketch for my inspiration.

Another sketch challenge card

This time i have followed a sketch i found over at Here Come The Boys

This time i used an image and a sentiment i had in a mens collection mag and some wonderful backing papers i found at the back of a drawer last week.

This will be for my brother (not his birthday til august) but nice to be prepared!!!! lol

Sketch challenge card

Good evening followers

How are we all...me i am so glad that tomorrow is Friday...what a week!!!

Okay so over at the trimcraft site there is a monthly sketch challenge run by Rozzy and this month we had a great sketch to work with. So as i needed to make a birthday card for a friends hubby i decided to enter the challenge .....

The backing papers are from a swap i did with a trimmie, border was punched using a martha stewart punch and the key was from an embellishment kit i bought ages ago from the NEC..

"Celebrations"

Celebrations is our theme this week over at C.R.A.F.T. Challenges and we had so many digis to choose from to use on our DT cards but i chose this oh so cute image from "eiglas".




Only problem was once i got out my DCWV nursery papers i couldn't decide whether to make a "girl" card or a "boy" card...so i made both. Coloured with my promarkers and then added some baby embellishments to them.

My 1st DT card for C.R.A.F.T. Challenges

Good morning followers

Well what a surprise this was, after being asked if i would like to be a GDT for C.R.A.F.T Challenges during December I have now joined this great team as a permanent member of their DT!!!! How happy am I !!!!

Well the challenge this week is "Thank You" and we got to choose some wonderful digis to work with, mine is from "Karen's Doodles" and if you have never visited her site you won't know what you have been missing.




I have colored the image with my beloved promarkers and the delighful BP's are DCWV " Blossoms & Butterflies" and a sentiment from craftwork cards....

Mary Mary Quite Contrary....

Aha...did you guess which stamp I had used from the soon to be released "Nursery Rhymes" from Nutcrafters

How cute is she and just wait til you see the others!!! These new stamps are to be released on the 9th January and i just know they are going to be very very popular and miss lucky here gets to work with some of them..

1st DT challenge of 2012...

My 1st DT challenge card for 2012 is this one for Creative Craft Challenges. Our theme for the new year is "What's Your Resolution". well one of mine is to be a bit happier in the morning, I'm not a morning person as i need at least 3 cups of tea before i am "normal" so around 10 is a good time for me....

I have made this card for one of my very good friend's hubby, he is always saying how my friend is grumpy in the morning which i know is rubbish cos i have known her for 26 years and she is NEVER grumpy!!! but thought this card would make them both chuckle.

The image is from Bugaboo and i love it and the brill sentiment and know it will be well used. do pop over here and have a look at what my fab teamies have come up with, we have fantastic sponsors again and there are brill prizes to be won

Welcome to 2012 followers. I hope you have all had a great festive time, I am just enjoying my last day of freedom before going back to work tomorrow!!!

I have been asked to make some thank you cards so thought i would share them with you..




this one is made from a goody bag from craftwork cards, i just love the colour combinations. I thought i would enter this one into the challenge at Sentimental Sundays
