no not a pussy cat, a little card, now this one is a Kanban one and i loved it as soon as i saw it. It is actually layered up put the piccie hasn't picked this up!!! well i never said i was a David Bailey...lol

I just love Polka Doodles christmas cds...for someone who is not a huge fan of cds for crafting i just had to have these 2...magical winter part one and part two after seeing some fantastic cards my friend Michaela had made!!!!

so here is the 1st one and my favourtie so far, I have made this for some special friends...





Everything is off the cd except the fluffy ribbon and the punched flower/snowflake

I have used some lovely papers that i got from Doncaster last weekend, they came in a Craftwork cards goody bag!!! Why did nobody tell me how much yummy stash you get in these bags. I have coloured her with my promarkers (those fine nibs are perfect).

I have also entered this card into a "bunting" challenge over at trimcraft

Off to tidy my craft room up and then to get ready as me and hubby are off to a fireworks and bonfire party in the village

Bonfire night at Nutcrafters

Good morning to all my lovely followers, by the time you read this i shall be at work beavering away at my desk....

My cousin is 30...

My lovely cousin Nicola will be 30 next week, so made her this card for her special day.

She is having a party next week but unfortunately we had already made plans so won't be able to go but i'm sure she will have a fantastic time.

Moving House!!!

No not me, we did that 4 years ago and not in a hurry to do it again...far too stressful but i do love my new home. This time it is my best friend Elke that is moving (again) she is very busy at the moment decorating her new house ready for the
big move in a weeks time. I have made her this fun new home card using the paper pretties stamp set i won a few weeks ago, they stamp absolutely brilliantly and I will be using them again and again me thinks!!! Coloured with my promarkers as usual....

The little alphabet tiles i bought ages ago as i had a project in mind but i forgot all about them, thought they were perfect for this card. The lovely fabric flowers were in a set for 50p bargain!!!

I am relieving Elke of her decorating duties tomorrow and we are off to Doncaster to one of my favourite craft shows...Stamp Magic

Vintage lace bookmark

I bought this lace from a shop in Bridlington, they sell absolutely everything including this yummy lace ribbon for the grand price of 25p for 3 metres!!!!

I have made this bookmark to enter a challenge over at trimcraft to use lace/ribbon.

The card i covered with distress inks using my new ink blender tool that i won, then added some art papers from a block i bought when i 1st started crafting (knew they would come in handy one day), couple of brads and finally my lacey ribbon,. I love vintage but never quite sure where to start but i must say i am quite pleased with this.

Trio of penguins

this time i have down-sized the little cuties so now we have a trio of penguins, do pop along and grab this digi and join in Aly's 1st ever challenge.

80th Birthday for a very lovely neighbour

I made this card for one of my lovely neighbours.Before we moved house she was a great neighbour for over 23 years and saw all 3 of my girls grow up and now she is 80!!!! Believe you me she doesn't look it and she definitely doesn't act it.

She is one special lady so deserves a special card. I love the simplicity of the card and again i had great fun using one of my new martha stewart punches.

another Little Claire stamp card

Just managed to finish this one off before i have to go and introduce the lamb to the oven!!!! Hubby will be in from work shortly and being the good wife that i am i shall have a roast dinner waiting for him.

I went for the red and blue option for this one, coloured with my promarkers of course and a few gems added using my new tool...no idea what the real name of it is but i call it my sticky tool...perfect for picking up those fiddly gems and placing them on my cards...i love it

Will enter this into the little claire's challenge too

One of many...Christmas card

Well i knew i had to start sooner or later so yesterday was the day. Out came the Christmas stamps and papers and the bling and the charms and the ribbon....does my craft room look like someone dropped a bomb??? oh yes, but did i have fun??? oh yes

This is the 1st card i made using my new stamp set from Little Claire, the idea being that i am going to make lots and lots of them but using different colours. I love easel cards, i think they are a joy to make.

This one is coloured with my promarkers and i have cut the sections of the tree and then used some silicone to raise them slightly from the card.

The charm i bought from a stand at Ally Pally (sorry can't remember the name) but they sold bags of the most amazing charms.

Of course i have to enter it into the challenge over at Little Claire's

My niece and her boyfriend have just gotten engaged...so perfect opportunity to make a card with lots of sparkle and bling... and a chance to use my new Martha Stewart punch i bought from Ally Pally.

I love pretty vellums and this one was a freebie in a mag so even better, 2 layers of card using my new punch, some very sparkly ribbons, flowers gems and a heart and voila...there was my card for the happy couple. Hope they like it as much as i do

stampin up card and box

On Saturday my best friend and I went to a Stampin Up catalogue launch day..

We had never been to one before so no idea what to expect!!!

The lovely Stampin Up lady's name was Helen and she met us at the door with a goodie bag...good start i thought!!! Then she made us a cuppa and offered us muffins, ginger cake and cookies...gets better and better we thought.

We had a quiz, a raffle and 2 make and takes ...the 1st one being a lovely little box


and then we made a Christmas card with the most super duper stamps which i fell in love with



Helen then finished the morning off with a demo and made a double pillow box which was soooo cute.

we both had a lovely morning, met lots of new crafters and now i have a stampin up wish list 4 foot long..lol

Lilly's Card

This card was made especially for a little girl called Lilly. Lilly is my daughter's best friend's little girl. She has gorgeous red hair so my daughter wanted a card with a princess with red hair. Lilly's favourite colour is pink so thought she just might like this one.

This little image is a stamp from wild rose studios, coloured with my promarkers with galamour dust for sparkle and shine!!!

The backing papers are from a swap i did with a trimmie called Janjaneta, just added some gem hearts and a few card candi before finally adding a little sentiment i found at the bottom of my drawers...lol

Talking of pink things have you been over to nutcrafters yet to have a look at the freebie they are offering for breast cancer awareness month. She is a little cupcake cutie...so why not pop over have a look, grab the freebie and then have a go in our challenge...think pink.
