But...this week i have been off for a few days due to a problem with my leg so i have been practising linking things to my blog and obviously i have eventually got the hang of it. I am over the moon today and it has been a perfect end to a miserable week.

Where have i been ????

What sort of blogger am i ??? I have completely neglected my blog and the reason....

my niece's wedding which is this Saturday.

She asked me to make her the order of service cards which i did....then she asked me to make her a guest book which i did....and then she asked me to help with the table plan board..

Well here they are the reason for my absense...I am so pleased with myself but have to say i have treasured all the fantastic comments i have received from my wonderful trimmie friends.. thanks girls...xxxx

spa weekend...oooooooohh

I am off for a lovely long spa break with one of my best friends "Wendy" the men are going to silverstone for the weekend and so my friend and i have booked ourselves into a rather swanky hotel in oxfordshire for 4 days of pampering!!!!

thought i would show you the 2 wedding cards i have made in the last week. Between now and December we have 6 weddings to go to...one of them being my niece's. She has asked me to make the order of service cards and also a guest book!!! So once i get back from the pampering i need to get my finger out and make a start on the cards and the book.

creative craft challenges

As you may know i am a member of the DT for creative craft challenges and the theme this week was "summer loving" using a digi stamp provided most graciously by stichy bear.

this is my little mermaid card i made...she is soooooooooo cute. I used some glossy accents for her shell top and head-dress, coloured her with promarkers and used DCWV backing papers from "pocket full of posies" If you get chance pop over to this challenge blog and have a look at the superb sponsors we have and enter one of our challenges. Good Evening and welcome back to my blog.

Back to work this week..reality has now returned after my lovely holiday...so what have i been doing craftwise. Over at trimcraft Eiglas organised an un-loved stamp swop and this is the stamp that i received...a lovely peter rabbit stamp. Also over at trimcraft there is a colour challenge running so i decided to enter this with the new stamped image.

These are 2 of the cards i made at craft club on Tuesday evening. We meet up every week from 6 til 8 and have a wonderful time.

this week the theme was "goody bags"

one of the club members has to provide everyone with a goody bag and the contents then have to be used to make a project.

cards for creative craft challenges blog

I am sure some of you know that i am part of the DT for Creative Craft challenges blog (when i have fathomed it out i will do a proper link for the blog) these 2 cards are 2 that i have made for inspiration last month.

the cupcake is a digi/image from the crafty pad and the monkeys was a digi image i bought from digistamp boutique....they both have fantastic designs so well worth popping ove and having a look.

Right time for bed and then tomorrow when i get in from work i shall show you another 2 cards i have made at the craft group i go to in Loscoe.
