CRAFT Challenge DT card

Good evening from a very warm and sunny Derbyshire
Our challenge this week over at CRAFT Challenges is
"Well Done/Congratulations/You've Done It!

I have used Graduate Rhubarb and elements from "Graduation " by Sweet 'n' Sassy coloured with my Promarkers and the die in the middle of the card is a Tonic Studio one..."Gothic Border" and I love it.

Good job I did this card well in advance as we have had a very poorly pet in our house and the only thing I have thought about is getting her better.  She has been diagnosed with pancreatitus !!!!!  Hopefully with medication and a special diet we can get through this and have her back to her normal self again..  Fingers crossed

Have a super evening and catch you all again real soon

Christmas in August ????

Well it is over at CRAFT Challenges this week.

For my DT card I chose to use some new Christmas Stash from my goodie bag and a lovely reindeer called Rudolph from Robyn's Fetish.
The papers are textured and feel more like material - even the velvet ribbon was included in the pack - Rudolph was coloured using my Promarkers including a metallic gold one..

Do come and say hello to us and maybe win a prize in the challenge

I made this for a competition on a facebook craft page - didn't win but enjoyed making something different .  It was a kit from a mag and I made it whilst on holiday in Cornwall, filled the bottom with sand so i can use it as a doorstop at my craft retreat in Yorkshire...
Not a great sewer so not sure how long it will stay together for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and there is more!!!

Wedding card for a special couple
I have entered this in the Paper Crafting Journey Vintage Challenge

Hunkydory Cards

All made from a hunkydory kit which i have fallen in love with...

Stampin Up...

Hope you're ready for all of these...i have been busy!!!

These two are made using mainly stampin up products...my friend Anne found the instructions for the folder card on the internet...you can add packet of seeds or special tea bags in the pockets...I loved it :)

2nd post of the week.....

Good evening to my followers

I'm a bit warm tonight - so stuffy and airless but shouldn't complain at least i don't have layers of jumpers on and cold feet!!!

Now then over at CRAFT Challenges this week the theme is "Bookmark/Doorhanger - how about that for a challenge???

Do come and join in the fun - lots of lovely prizes as always and we are always happy to see your creations

Here is my little bookmark using a digi from Bugaboo - Fish Whisperer - and i found a little fish brad in the bottom of a drawer - just perfect.  Coloured with my promarkers and mounted onto some embossed card which I distressed with my sanding block.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and look out for some piccies of lots of cards I have been making whilst staying in Bridlington

Love and hugs

Butterflies and Bows

Good Morning

Sunshine here in Derbyshire which is always a good start to a Wednesday morning.
Our challenge over at Nutcrafters this time has been chosen by the very talented Gemma
"Butterflies and Bows"
I have always got lots of butterflies stashed away in my craft room so all i needed to do was to decide which image to use and which butterflies to put on my card.

Coloured with my promarkers matted and layered onto 2 scalloped die-cuts, a few butterflies and my sentiment and there we have my DT card for Nutcrafters.

We would love for you to come and join us - come on show us how many butterflies you can get on one card

Enjoy your day

Sorry for the absense.....

Ooops not been blogging recently - life has gotten in the way of crafting - oh and so has a 2 week holiday but normal service is now resumed...

So let's start August off with my DT card for CRAFT Challenges - the theme we have chosen this week is mono-chromatic..ie one main colour.  I have gone for pretty pinks and have chosen to use a digi from Inky Impressions called Angelica Crafting.

Coloured her with my promarkers although not happy with her hair at all...think i need another lesson from Phil !!!

I followed a sketch for my inspiration from Papertake Weekly and i used sketch #81

Right time to dash as we are off to the seaside with the doogies

Enjoy your weekend
