I don't believe It !!!!!!!



I have received another blog award this time from the lovely Monica...thank you so much Monica, i am absolutely thrilled!!!

shattered dogs!!!





Just taken our two dogs Sophie (Cavalier King Charles) amd Bumble (Jack Russell) out for a very long walk over the fields. Sophie is our dog and Bumble is my daughter's dog.

They are both absolutely filthy and shattered!!!

my 1st twisted easel card





This is my 1st ever twisted easel card and i can't believe how easy they are to make. the image and sentiments are from a freebie sheet from printable heaven and the backing papers were part of a paper swap over at trimcraft.

Just like to thank Cheryl for the really easy instructions...love your blog hun and your fabulous work and to top it off a great demo too..thank you.

Followed a sketch!!!






I decided to have a go at entering a sketch challenge and chose this one from Sketch Saturday, they had some brill DT inspiration so i thought i would have a go and see what i could come up with.

One of my favourite LOTV images coloured with promarkers and then lots of pretty flowers to finish it off...love the colours of the bright backing paper which is from a Kate Knight pack. I am also going to enter it into Lexi's Creations...flowers, don't think i can get anymore flowers on this one so think it fits!!! Flowers is also the challenge over at the creative cottage challenge blog too, great blog so go and have a nosey.. i did!!! and finally here at LOTV challenge..favourite colours

Hope you are all well and not too wet or cold... i am freezing so the heating has just gone on and i have a nice cup of coffee waiting for me once i have finished with Mr Linky!!!

Coffee and cream....





Look at this gorgeous digi image from Robyns Fetish "puppypaws"... i absolutley love him.

I am going to show him off here because of course he is coloured with my promarkers and he is the perfect colour for this challenge. I am also going to enter this challenge, i have only used faux stitching but one day i just may try the real thing!!!

Sorry I've not been around followers seem to have had a week of doctor's hospitals and appointments!!!

I am now returning to work next Tuesday so have to start getting myself organised and making sure my DT cards are ready!!! More info on these later

This is a thank you card i have made and decided to make it distressed and shabby to fit in with this challenge, i have used a digi image from "floppy latte designs, coloured with my promarkers of course and then a bit of lace added for a change!!!

Birthday card for my trimmie friend Sandra








This is the birthday card i made for my very good friend Sandra, i too met her through the trimcraft forum. It was her 30th birthday and she wasn't really looking forward to it, but she had a brilliant party (fancy dress) with lots of her family and friends

I couldn't put this up before or else she would have seen it before her big day!!!

I think it is perfect for Sandra...all girlie lol

Where have I been ????







Bet you have been wondering where i have been this past week, well.......... to the Lake District.

Last Wednesday was my hubby's birthday so i booked a cottage in Windermere as a surprise birthday treat for him. That wasn't the only surprise for him though... I had also arranged to go with some very good friends of ours Elke and Rob. I met Elke through a craft forum "trimcraft" about 20 months ago and we have become the very best of friends, so who better to share my hols with !!!

We had a fantastic time and the weather was very good to us, so here are a few piccies i thought i would share with you

Busy day card 3






this is the last card i made yesterday and this time it is for my mum for mother's day!!! I am not usually this organised lol

LOTV stamped image coloured with promarkers **free papers from simply cards and papercrafts**sentiment from craftwork cards and i made the border strips using a martha stewart punch.

Have to say i love this card and hopefully mum will too, I have entered it into a challenge over at trimcraft...the challenge is to make something with cake/s on. Well i know it is only a little one !! I will also be entering this one for the 1st challenge over at little claire's designs and also here at i love promarkers challenge blog.

Busy day....card 2





this is the 2nd card i made yesterday and it is for my middle daughter's birthday, she has wild curly hair like this and she used to love taking our little westie for a walk so thought i would use this stamp (sorry to say but i have no idea what it is as for some bizarre reason i threw away the packaging!!!) again i have used the free papers from simply cards and papercrafting, added some brads and then another wee sentiment from the crafty pad

Busy day....card 1




Had a really good crafting session yesterday and made 3 cards, this is the 1st one!!! I have used ** free backing papers from "simply cards and papercraft" **some lace that is actually meant to adorn your shelves!!! **various flowers and gems and the sentiment stamp is from the crafty pad ** and finally the stamped image coloured with promarkers is of course LOTV.

I am going to enter this one into the 1st little claire's design challenge here anything goes.

"Love is all around us"








Well it will be very soon!!! the theme at craft group last night was hearts and flowers, so these are the two cards i made. the one with the teddies on is for me to send to hubby...rrrrrr hubby will send me one but it will be a mad frantic dash either to the shop the day before or he will ask if he can borrow my craft stash!!!! watch this post and if he makes me one i will show it to you all. lol

I had a look at some blogs earlier and their are quite a few challenges that the cards fit into so these are the ones i am going to enter!! Have to be in it to win it...actually i do it because it gives me lots of inspiration (nosey me ... i love looking at other peoples projects) and because i enjoy papercrafting

One for the girls and one for the boys






My daughter's partners sister past her test on Saturday so i was asked to make her a card and this is what i came up with using Little Claire's stamp set "Drive my car" whilst i had the stamp set out i thought i would make one for the boys!! I'm sure sometime soon it will be needed.

I have decided to enter the blue car into the crafty pad challenge "something for the boys" and also Alphabet Challenge "m for men"

Okay off to have a play with a brayer!!!
